A section of local leaders in Kisii County have reacted after Kisii County government under the leadership of Governor James Ongwae banned employees from wearing skimpily to work.
Led by Samuel Nyangeso, a former Kisii town mayor the leaders welcomed the move.

"I am happy that Governor Ongwa'e administration has moved with speed to ban employees more especially women from wearing miniskirts to work. No woman should be allowed to market his body at work," he said.
Nyangeso said any female county worker who is unhappy with the directive should immediately resign and venture into commercial sex trade.
"Female employees who will be agitated should venture into sex trade where she will dress skimpily to catch men's attention. Public officers should be groomed and dress well while discharging their duties," he added.
Steve Arika, a Jubilee politician, lauded Governor Ongwae for taking the bold step.
"Immorality among county workers will be minimal. Women who have been dressing skimpily will have no option following the latest development in the county," he noted.
Rachael Otundo argued that the ban will only affect women.
"Decent dressing is mandatory to any public officer. It is time women to change their poor style of dressing while reporting to work," she stated.
